Meadow City Academy of Music was founded by Ronald Maltais in the spring of 2017, with a mission to provide excellent musical/dance training and performances for the Las Vegas, New Mexico, community. The Academy seeks to present professional New Mexico musicians and dancers in performance venues throughout our city.  As we proceed into our 8th season, we are proud to announce that since its founding, the Academy has presented over 120 performance artists primarily from New Mexico.  The summer program for Las Vegas youth, titled the Novo Sonidos Orchestra, is conducted by local music teacher Quintin Leger.  We look forward to serving as a cosponsor of this vital program as it continues to attract talented middle and high school musicians.  Due to the continued generosity of our donors, we are committed to awarding music scholarships for talented youth in need of financial support.
